During the Summer months, I run Demonstrations, so if you're a visitor in our area and would like to book an Hour. you will get a true experience in my workshop, it's a hands on demonstration and something for everyone young and old to enjoy.

The Joyce Country
Dúiche Sheoigheach

Is a cultural region in counties Galway and Mayo in Ireland. Part of the area falls within the Connacht Gaeltacht. There are about 2,000 people living in the area and about 25% of those are native Irish speakers. Extending into the southern part of County Mayo, traversed by green valleys and lonely roads.

All-natural Dyes are picked and gathered in our own farm and farms in the Joyce Country area and it does not leave Joyce Country until it goes to the customer. We are keeping the long tradition of carding and spinning in Dúiche Sheoigheach

This Jacob mixed hat is made from Fleece 198 and the pattern happens naturally by picking up a piece of white and grey or black together from the fleece, card them together and then spin it , I washed, carded, handspun and knitted it here in Joyce Country . They are all a bit different from each other so they might not be exactly like the single photo but they are all from the same fleece
